This much-loved Scottish quintet are often described as post rockers because of their love of kraut-ish, instrumental workouts; but they're in fact equally beguiled by the minimalism of Erik Satie, Sunn O)))'s monolithic thunderings and Big Black's boiling rage. The fivesome's wordless epics have been lulling, bludgeoning and confounding adventurous music fans since the late ’90s, and they're still going strong with their trademark slow-burning, post-Slint churn.
