Volcano Choir

This crew from Wisconsin makes pensive, introspective indie-folk with plenty of acoustic guitar, an odd, post-rock touch and some high-soaring vocals. Pretty much what you'd expect from a side project of Justin Vernon, along with Collections of Colonies of Bees. Repave, the band's new record, should fill the Bon Iver–shaped hole in Vernon fans' hearts. Opening the night is mysterious, Craigslist-founded band the Cloak Ox. Tickets for the show are sold out, so you'll have to hunt some down online.
