Chuck Taylor's Fried Chicken All Stars at Komodo

Chuck Taylor's and fried chicken? Head over to Komodo in Venice to see how these two are joining forces. Choose between executive chef Erwin Tjahyadi's Nashville-inspired deep-fried chicken with homemade chili or chef Samuel Monsour's Lowcountry-style variation. Each dish comes with a side of slaw, bottomless mac and cheese and an ice cream sandwich. After debating about which rendition of the traditional dish is better fried, check out the newest hand painted canvas kicks, inspired by the event and designed by sneaker artist Brian Staton (priced at $200). Guests can also bring their own pair to the pop-up event for a chance to have them custom painted.
