I know Terroni is technically a chain, but it never feels that way. This is my favorite of the LA locations—it's big, beautifully designed and the staff are friendly and attentive. The pasta is insane, of course, as are the salads and other starters. The cocktails aren't bad either, though next time I'll probably stick to wine—when in Rome.

I'm definitely coming back to Terroni in downtown.  The place is huge, but doesn't feel like one of those giant warehouse restaurants.  Everything in the restaurant feels big, which ironically offers a cozy feeling.  The food is on point and the service is incredible!

So, what a good surprise: the restaurant is very well decorated, with a kitchen that is visible all times and where you can see wines, bread, hams, sauce and pasta and the staff is very helpful and friendly. When we inquired for the wines, they asked over the sommelier that was on call that night. He asked what we were looking for – we just said a location, nothing more – and he immediately suggested a wine that was exactly what we were expecting! The food was very well prepared, with the perfect Mediterranean flavour.

Recently went to Teroni in DTLA and it was so delicious! The restaurant is big with great decor and the staff is very friendly. They also serve gluten free past, HUGE bonus!

Terroni is a solid Italian restaurant with a creative menu and delicious cocktails. Quality-wise there are other Italian restaurants in DTLA that are better, but Terroni is still a fantastic place for lunch or dinner after work. Don't bother asking if they have an off-menu lasagna — they don't.
