From teenage Twi-hards (and their middle-aged mothers) to the more traditional I-vant-to-suck-your-blood Dracula cosplayers, vampires seem to pervade pop culture even in the sunny summer months when they should be resting their coffins. So what makes these creatures so monstrously popular? Sink your teeth into some vampire lit with a host of professors and writers who aim to answer this very question at the Hammer’s free public reading series. Dig up those wax fangs and your favorite velvet cape (we all have one, right?) – costumes are welcome!
Museum parking is $3 after 6pm.
