BritWeek Celebrates Downton Abbey

BritWeek is celebrating Downtown Abbey in authentic style this weekend, and it’s pulling out all the stops at the swank Fairmont Miramar. While tickets to this exclusive party are posh-priced, entry will transport you to the past with meticulous details that even the Dowager Countess would approve of. We’re talking a vintage flapper dress code, pre-prohibition cocktails, elegant old-fashioned dishes from FIG, live 1920's tunes, dance performances and even vignettes. For an extra $100, VIP tickets get you a pre-event reception and meet-and-greet with producer Gareth Neame and cast member Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith). The historical fun will also be charitable— proceeds benefit a mentoring program.
