Comix Jam

Like a mixture of Mad Libs, comic books and performance art, Comix Jam encourages the community to create a collaborative comic book. Go to the festival anytime throughout the day and select an illustration board with pre-drawn comic panels. Choose from a blank one to partially drawn version and then fill in your own words, pictures and graphics. Put it back on the wall for someone else to work on, and watch as a group comic is created, page by page. The event is open to everyone, regardless of age or drawing skill level. After the event is finished, the pages will be scanned and uploaded to the festival's site. In addition to the drawings, special events will be held on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings with live music and special guests.
