Every year the Original Farmers Market decks its stalls with autumnal decor and seasonal treats, and while the historic food court won't be rolling out its usual Fall Festival programming in 2020, you can count on at least one holdover: the pumpkin patch.
The market's main square will be decorated all October long, but on October 10 and 11 you'll be able to drop by for a family friendly, socially distanced pumpkin patch from 10am to 6pm. Don your masks and your keenest shopping eye to pick the best pumpkins, other gourds and corn stalks, where the goods will be available for purchase and the entry is free.
You can also expect carving kits and Halloween-themed items, and with $5 donation you can even snag a pumpkin decorating kit; donations will benefit the Salvation Army's coronavirus relief fund, which provides prepared meals, food boxes, shelter and more to those impacted by the pandemic—a spooky time for a good cause.
