Relay for Life of Santa Monica

One of the American Cancer Society's signature events, Relay for Life brings together fundraising teams for a 24-hour walk to promote cancer research. The overnight charity event takes place locally at the track at Santa Monica College, on which one team member must be walking at all times. Signature events include a lap walked by cancer survivors in the morning and a luminaria lighting ceremony at night.
