Consider this your owl letter: There's a wizard-themed beer fest headed to L.A., and while it doesn't explicitly say it's Harry Potter-themed, well, let's just say the Wizard’s Beer Festival isn't exactly using a concealment charm.
Costumes are encouraged at this new 300-person fest, which flies into Los Angeles on January 26 and promises wand-making classes, DJ sets, tarot-card readers, giveaways and other activity stations to help you reveal your inner wizard.
Each ticket, priced at $50, includes a 12-ounce welcome brew and five tokens, which you can use to alohomora even more beer. L.A. will mark the first stop for the touring festival, which is in no way related to this other wizard-themed beer fest of the same name. Other cities include NYC, Denver and Toronto.
"This festival is created for fantasy and magic lovers," according to the news release, and "a mystical place where your imagination can roam free."
That mystical location just so happens to be Arts District Brewing Co.and tickets are now on sale.
So if you'll excuse us, until January 26, we'll be brushing up on our refilling charms.
Note: The L.A. stop for the Wizard's Beer Festival was initially scheduled for February 2 but has been rescheduled for January 26.
