Ever notice that influencers seem to always be eating, drinking and living better than you? Yeah, us too—and we want in. So each week, we ask one of these in-the-know Miamians to share their access and answer a city-centric burning question.

What’s the one place in Miami that every tourist must visit?

Alexandra Klumpp of Beyond South Beach tells us Little Havana is the spot.

“This might be an obvious answer but…Little Havana. We would tell someone to spend the day there. Start your day by sharing a colada, croquetas and empanadas. Walk Calle Ocho, visit the cigar shops and galleries, listen to the music, and head to the domino park, where the real action is. Meet the Cubans and other Latinos who helped shape this city. We’d tell them to make their way to Old’s Havana or another neighboring Cuban restaurant…because Cuban food in Miami should be at the top of every tourist’s list. Finish your meal with Azucar Ice Cream. Then grab drinks at Bar Nancy or beers at Union Beer Store, and witness how Little Havana is changing and modernizing while staying true to its roots.”
