Here's what's cancelled in Miami due to windy, rainy weather

These winds are really blowing our holiday plans.

Well, the weather blew it. This week's unprecedented patterns have really put a damper (ok, we'll stop) on this weekend's holiday festivities, forcing many of the most anticipated holiday happenings to be cancelled or postponed until the rain and winds subside.

CBS4 is reporting that South Florida could see as high as 40mph winds on Friday as well as periods of mild to medium rains. And storms will likely pick up on Saturday; the Keyes are on flood watch and the rest of South Florida can expect strong winds and downpours. Sunday, we should be seeing some sunshine again. 

So, what does this mean for our weekend plans, which includes tons of holiday eventsLots of cancellations and postponements. Safe to assume that anything outdoors is closed for the weekend; here's a list of what we know is not happening on December 15th, 16th and 17th.

In lieu of these closings, there's still plenty of events still open like Aventura Mall's Snow Carnival, the Little River Flea and other indoor events and shows.
