National food and drink holidays can be so hit or miss these days, but here's one we can really get behind: an entire month devoted to barrel-aged liquor. Yep, September is National Bourbon Heritage Month. We're going big at Time Out Market Miami with activations, hands-on classes and drink specials—and the fun starts over Labor Day weekend.
Throughout the entire month, we're celebrating happy hour with $8 bourbon cocktails Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 7pm. Or plan to swing by for dinner and a night cap with our late-night happy hour on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 to 11pm. We're also hosting a limited-time pop-up bar on Friday, September 24, featuring bourbon pours and cocktails from Longbranch.
Experts and novices alike will want to mark their calendars for September 22, when Time Out Market Miami offers a Bourbon Class & Cocktail Demo, which includes a crash course on the spirit, a hands-on workshop and a tutorial on tasting, buying and mixing bourbon. Then, on September 29, we're pulling out all the stops for a bourbon-paired Basque dinner prepared by our friends at Lur. Tickets are available now and going quickly.
