Miami has no shortage of steakhouses, but one newcomer just shot to the top of the list in record time. Open just four months, Daniel’s Miami (located in the former Fiola Miami space in Coral Gables) has been ranked number nine on the 2026 World’s Best 101 Steak Restaurants list, making it the highest-rated steakhouse in Florida and one of the top ten in all of North America. For a restaurant that launched in late July, that’s a meteoric rise by any measure. (For the record, Time Out has it at number eight on the list of the best Miami restaurants.)

RECOMMENDED: Daniel's is the power steakhouse Coral Gables didn't know it needed

The sister concept to the Michelin-recommended Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse, the Coral Gables location leans into a polished, European-influenced style of service and a steak program built around ethically sourced, prized cuts. The kitchen works with globally renowned ranch partners, including Stone Axe and Margaret River in Australia, plus Texas’s Strube Ranch, whose Wagyu prime rib has already become a signature. Everything is selected for marbling, depth of flavor and consistency, then treated with classic, unfussy techniques that spotlight the beef’s natural richness. The staff includes culinary director Danny Ganem, director of operations Scott Ozler and wine and beverage director Daniel Bishop.

As Time Out wrote in its review, "[The vibe is] tastefully expensive. From happy hour through closing, Daniel’s is packed with the suited after-work set, martini-wielding groups and couples cozying up over a rare cut and a bottle of red. Off the side of the entrance, the bar area is likewise buzzing, with a slightly more casual crowd. The whole restaurant feels festive and sleek, with a massive glass wine cellar and a beautiful open kitchen that help divide the space into more intimate zones."

The ranking caps off a breakout year for the father-daughter duo behind Gioia Hospitality, Thomas and Kassidy Angelo, who’ve turned Daniel’s Miami into one of the city’s most in-demand reservations. It also follows a major milestone: Daniel’s recently hosted The Rare Tour from the World’s Best 101 Steak Restaurants, marking the tour’s first-ever stop in the U.S.

"What we have achieved in just four months is truly remarkable and a testament to the incredible commitment of our team," said Thomas Angelo in an official statement. "But none of this would be possible without the loyal following that has embraced Daniel’s from day one. We feel deeply fortunate, and we will continue striving to push the envelope by partnering with the best ranches and farms around the world to redefine the steakhouse experience."

With a top ten North American ranking already locked in, expect demand to spike. But who minds a wait if there's a martini at the end of it—especially the deconstructed one at Daniel's Miami?
