A celebration of the history and culture of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) communities, Pride also recalls the importance of resistance. Of standing up for others, caring for our neighbors, and demanding equal rights for a safer, more inclusive world.

Best Pride Month events in Miami

1. Catch some beads at the Ocean Drive parade

Bring the whole family to Ocean Drive on Sunday, April 12, for the iconic Miami Beach Pride parade. Starting at noon, a flurry of extravagant floats will glide down the historic Art Deco district from 5th Street to 14th Street alongside thousands of marchers, local performers, and community organizers. After the parade, head to Lummus Park for inspiring speeches, live DJ sets, and a special R House showcase, plus a headliner performance by American Idol darling and Miami native, David Archuleta. 

Time Out tip: Get there early to claim your viewing spot. Ocean Drive and surrounding streets will close to traffic, so give yourself extra time for parking (or play it safe with rideshare). Entry is free for all ages.

2. Dance to Latin jazz on Lincoln Road

Boogie on down to Lincoln Road on Thursday, April 2 for a funk-tastic kickoff party with Spam Allstars, the homegrown Miami band known for its unique blend of electronica and Latin jazz. This all-ages event serves as the official kickoff to Miami Beach Pride. Join an interactive community painting and learn about local non-profits like SAVE, Florida’s longest-running LGBTQ+ civil rights organization. Entry is free with RSVP. All ages welcome.

3. Bow down to drag royalty

April has no shortage of fabulous drag. Willy’s, the former Wynwood haunt, will resurrect at Las Rosas with a special WIG! show on April 9. Splits, kicks, and death drops await at Drag Me to Pride on April 10 with Trinity The Tuck, Jimbo the Drag Clown, and other icons from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Also on April 10, fellow RPDR legends Detox and Roxxxy Andrews perform a special revue at Foxhole with Miami’s Sting Dion, presented by Freddie. All events 21+. Ticket prices vary. 4. Pose for a Grindr profile pic

Yep, you read that correctly. The talented photographers at Chosen Familia have teamed up with House of Trouble to offer professional thirst-traps for all your dating-app needs. Bring your best face to Supernatural Haus on April 9 and be prepared to serve. Entry is free before 10 pm.

Time Out tip: Chosen Familia offers $10 print and digital portraits for the community every Thursday at Supernatural. Strike a pose, then stick around for the Superqueen drag show. All events 18+.

5. Mingle with Miami sapphics

If your FYP leans WLW, these events are for you. In The Wyld brings a high-energy rooftop party on April 4, presented by SHENiTE. Things take a scintillating turn on April 10 with Pandora Events’ Tied Up party. Dress code is black, and statement neckwear is a must. Think silk ribbon, a spikey choker, or even a sexy bow tie. On April 11, SheLife Events takes over Mango’s Tropical Cafe for Sazon Peligrosa, a 10-year-anniversary party featuring go-go dancers galore. And on April 12, the annual She Tea pool party returns to Dream South Beach with surprise guests. All events 21+. Ticket from $15.

6. Crown the next Mr. & Miss Miami Beach Pride

Love a pageant but hate the patriarchy? Head to Palace on April 8 and cheer on the next Mr. & Miss Miami Beach Pride. Contestants will compete in classic categories like talent, evening wear, and Q&A panels inspired by the pageant’s 2026 theme, Infinite: Love is LimitlessGeneral Admission tickets from $15. Ages 21+ welcome.

7. Marvel at acrobats and maybe adopt a puppy

Kiddos and four-legged friends are invited to the Miami Beach Pride family picnic, a free all-ages event with tons of live entertainment, outdoor games, an obstacle course, art-making classes, food trucks and more. Pose with the Easter Bunny, catch an acrobatic cirque show, and maybe give in to your child’s heartfelt pleas when you pass the Humane Society’s puppy adoption. Plus, you’ll get a chance to explore the new Pride Park, a giant six-acre green space with public art, close to the Miami Beach Botanical GardenFree entry. All ages welcome.

8. Battle it out with an LGBTQ+ field day

You better WORK at House of Trouble’s field day event. Bring your friends or sign up solo to compete in old-school games with a fun Pride twist, led by South Florida’s fitness training drag queen, Bonnie Builder. Campers enjoy a full day of activities, a taco-and-salad buffet, and bottomless (or topless?) beverages, including beer and seltzer. Test your limits and make new friends, then kick back on Key Biscayne for a dreamy island sunset. Tickets from $50. Ages 21+.

9. Find your next job at the Mega Mixer

This is not your average networking event. The Miami-Dade LGBTQ+ & Allied Chamber of Commerce is throwing a Pride Mega Mixer with Score, the once-infamous South Beach club turned rowdy party brand. To quote Stefan from SNL, “This place has everything.” Live music, light bites, percussionist DJ sets, drag queens, a complimentary welcome drink, and a special appearance by Palace dancers. Join the fun on April 7 from 6pm to 2am. Ages 21+ welcome. Tickets are priced at $25 for members and $35 for non-members. A portion of proceeds benefit Miami Beach Pride.

10. Celebrate queer storytelling at local film festivals

For the culture connoisseurs, spend a night at the cinema with OUTshine’s 2026 Spring Festival (April 23-May 3) or find your new favorite movie at the 43rd annual Miami Film Festival (April 9-19). Immersive theater gets a SoBe twist with the premiere of Neon Reef, a feel-good documentary on Miami’s queer community and ocean activism. On April 18, join the film’s director, Alex Mitow, for a scenic bike ride from South Beach to downtown’s Silverspot Cinema, then settle in for a red carpet party and Q&A with Eugene Hernandez, director of the Sundance Film Festival. We’d be remiss not to mention the live podcast event with gay icon and Golden Globe winner Matt Bomer on April 10. Prices vary. Visit the festival websites for details.

11. Hit the dance floor with Nicole Moudaber

On Saturday, April 11, Miami Beach Pride takes over M2 with a massive techno party headlined by Nicole Moudaber. Brazilian artist Junyo will also man the decks for his first-ever Miami performance. VIP tickets include fast entry, plus access to private bathrooms and a mezzanine viewing area stocked with fruit and snacks to keep you grooving. A portion of ticket proceeds benefits Miami Beach Pride. General Admission tier 2 tickets from $95. VIP tickets from $130. Open to ages 21+.
