Today’s the day: Time Out Market Montréal at the Centre Eaton de Montréal (705 Sainte-Catherine O, niveau 1) reopens its doors to give Montrealers access to some of the best chefs and mixology in the city. The kitchens are fired up and the bars are stocked; all that’s missing is you.

We spent a lot of time planning and preparing for this day following our temporary closure that lasted months to help fight the spread of COVID-19. The market’s taken every precaution to give Montrealers an experience that’s both safe and unlike any other, combining its unforgettable food and drink with an environment that’s fine-tuned for the best public health practices.

Montrealers can now experience the first selection we’re rolling out from the market’s hand-picked selection of 16 restaurants—from classically trained chefs to cuisine specialists—in addition to five bars serving mocktails, wine, beer and cocktail recipes from some of the best bars in the city, our cooking school, and a retail shop full of products from local artisans and artists.

Click on the names of eateries here to see their menus:

  • The outstanding Caribbean menu of chef Paul Toussaint
  • Umami bombs of ramen and Japanese curry from Marusan
  • Le Red Tiger’s fresh takes on traditional Vietnamese street food
  • The comforting and classic Italian pasta of Il Miglio
  • Pie after delicious pizza pie from Moleskine
  • The Portuguese chicken champions of Romados

The market will once again be open seven days a week: Sunday through Thursday from 12pm to 8pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 9pm. The bars will be open one hour later than the restaurants each and every night.

Since the circumstances around dining out are different these days, you’ll notice a few changes at the market. If you’re stopping by to dine in or grab some takeout, use the Time Out Market app to place your order, and the delivery options via DoorDash will be made available soon after today.

If you come in person to the market, stay safe and be kind during your visit. Remember to practice safe social distancing, wash your hands at our bathrooms or sanitize them at one of our stations, respect the floor signage, and—whether you come with friends, family or that cute person you just met on Tinder—keep groups to a minimum of 10 people from a maximum of three (3) households. Finally—while it’s not currently required—we highly recommend you wear a mask when you’re not eating or drinking in preparation for when masks are mandatory indoors on July 27th.

Thanks for your patience, Montreal. Hope you’re hungry.
