Super-dealer Larry Gagosian has never met a marquee name he didn't like, so it's no surprise that over the summer, he added Sunday painter/musical legend Bob Dylan to his roster of megatalents. Bob has been painting as a sideline for years, and this particular group of 18 new canvases is said to be inspired by his travels through Asia. But are they any good? Dylan's first gallery show ever—four years ago in Chemnitz, Germany, of all places—was fairly well received, but a 2010 outing in Copenhagen ran into a critical buzz saw.
