Carol Bove, "RA, or Why is an orange like a bell?"

Bove is best known these days for her recent sculptural installations on the High Line, comprising a series of abstract gestures in steel, meant to represent generic stand-ins for "public art." Something similar motivates the arrangements of metals, found material and concrete in this show.
