It's a good bet that the show title is ironic, since De Jong's sculptural tableaux—cartoony figures whipped up out of Styrofoam and plastic, and tending toward the candyend of the color spectrum—are anything but harmonious, compositionally or otherwise. In fact, the eponymous centerpiece installation—a work dating from 2008—features disembodied heads and headless, armless torsos in 17th-century garb, strung along a freestanding structure that is meant as a stand-in for the modernist grid. Just what the hell that's supposed to mean is hard to say, but De Jong's bad-boy showmanship is rarely boring.
