Time Out says

Memories of the Black Power and anti-war movements of the 1960s are evoked in this monumental sculpture of an Afro pick, which could be described as a Claus Oldenburg as Huey Newton might have imagined it The piece rises at an angle atop prongs illuminated by lights built into the bottom edge of a huge handle that culminates in a rendering of the iconic protest fist made famous by flyers and posters of the period.
