“Hypothesis for an Exhibition”

This group exhibition is conceived as an homage to Giulio Paolini, a leading figure in Italian Arte Povera and Conceptual Art. Paolini's work explores the interconnections between artist and creativity, artwork and spectator, vision and presentation. Allusions to classicism have been something of a hallmark in his work. Paolini himself is a contributor here along with other artists—Kerstin Brätsch, R.H. Quaytman—who share his penchant for self-reflexiveness.
