Hodges, whose works often possess a dreamy nostalgic quality, is given the run of both Gladstone spaces, here and on West 21st Street. The highlight of this leg of the show is an installation of a disco ball, spinning in a darkened room above a pool of water that had been blasted into the gallery floor. In a kind of Ellsworth Kelly–meets–Saturday Night Fever move, Hodges also includes shaped reliefs covered in black mirrored mosaics.
