This Pride Month, Loisaida Inc. and Acacia Networks are celebrating artists of the LGBTQI+ community with their month-long series, Loisaida is Proud at the The Loisaida Center in the Lower East Side.
Events begin Thursday, June 8 with the opening night of "We are all born naked, the rest is drag," an exhibition by the lens-based artist Ernesto Linnemann that will run through Friday, June 23. On Sunday, June 24 artist Gabriel Torres will present Haus of Dust, an interative installation about substance abuse in the queer Latine community.
