Time Out says

Three artists take divergent if somewhat relatable approaches to working on paper. New Mexico artist Paré creates more or less traditional figurative compositions that often take aspects the ’60s counterculture—commune life, gurus—as subjects. Schappert, who hails from Germany, paints on paper with oils in a loose representational amalgam of images and text that vaguely recalls the work of Raymond Pettibon. Dutch artist Van Der Hiede's lambent imagery hovers between landscape and abstraction.
