Prince's M.O.—macho posturing disguised as a send-up of the same—is pretty much evident in this mixed bag of recent works. There's a light-box image of an automobile wheel cover, as well as several murky paintings that appear to be black on black grids of plastic six-pack rings. Lines from inane Hollywood-trivia games that usually precede trailers at the cineplex substitute the usual borscht-belt jokes in a couple of text paintings. If this show demonstrates anything at all, it is that an exhaustion of imagination is no impediment to pricey pieces flying out the door.
