Rob Pruitt, “Pattern and Degradation”

For this show, Pruitt was inspired by Rumspringa, the Amish tradition in which adolescents briefly experience mainstream culture. Sprawling from the new GBE space into the Maccarone gallery, this exhibition of new work features quilts made of gold spray paint and wall pieces inspired by Ikea art. See also Maccarone.
