“Sterling Ruby: Ceramics”

This multimedia L.A. artist is known for his visceral use of materials, including clay. Though he doesn’t distinguish his ceramics from the rest of his art, this show focuses on his work in the medium. The sculptures here, which take shape as basins and similar forms, are consistent with his aggressive style of Expressionism.
