"The Great Upheaval: Modern Art from the Guggenheim Collection, 1910–1918"

Thanks to MoMA's AbEx blowout, last year proved to be a banner one for historical surveys that played to the strengths of a museum's collection. Expect more of the same with the Gugg's "Great Upheaval." The show, featuring 100 works from the institution's holdings, takes a look at the art produced during the dramatic years bracketing World War I: the period when Modernism kicked into high gear and the old order crumbled.
