Peter Orlovsky Memorial Reading

Orlovsky—poet, singer, farmer, Buddhist, colorful East Village presence and longtime companion to Allen Ginsberg—died this past May, leaving many bereft fans behind. Tonight a talented lineup pays tribute to him with a night of poetry and song. Chuck Lief, Philip Glass, Ed Sanders, Steven Taylor, Patti Smith, Bill Morgan and John Godfrey are among them.
