"Pulp Art: The Robert Lesser Collection"

Robert Lesser started buying comic books and pulpy paintings in the 1950s. By 1975, he had published a collectors reference, A Celebration of Comic Art and Memorabilia, as well as an important collection of Norman Rockwell–style images (albeit with seamier subjects). More than 90 images from Lesser's collection, which were donated to the New Britain Museum of American Art, will be on display.
