“Race to the End of the Earth Revisited”

To complement its exhibition "Race to the End of the Earth," about the 1911 South Pole expeditions of Roald Amundsen and Captain Robert Falcon Scott, AMNH invites Antarctica’s modern-day daredevils—professional Antarctic skiers Liv Arnesen and Ann Bancroft, as well as scientist Felicity Aston—to reflect on the men’s journeys and read excerpts from their time-worn diaries.
