"Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie, A Tale of Love and Fallout"

In her book Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie, A Tale of Love and Fallout, which came out last December, writer-artist Lauren Redniss created a visual biography of Marie and Pierre Curie, the 19th-century scientists (and husband-and-wife team) who discovered that radioactivity is an atomic property. The exhibit fuses both Redniss’s artwork and NYPL’s archival text on the couple.
