Target First Saturdays

There are very few instances in which the descriptor far out should be used, but when discussing the work of artist Fred Tomaselli—currently the subject of a new survey at the Brooklyn Museum—it seems apt. His trippy, colorful pieces blend scraps of paper, paint and—in some cases—prescription pills and other questionable substances.
