With so many fun and festive things to do in the city, cramming all the best Christmas in New York events in before the New Year can be a challenge. But, hell, that won’t stop you from trying, right? So here’s a cool event that, luckily, lets you partake in holiday festivities while giving you a chance to cross off your gift list.

Wander to the West Village for Christopher Street’s Holiday Walk this Saturday. Many local businesses from boutiques to cafes are offering discounts, exhibits, cider tastings, giveaways and enough holiday spirit (i.e. carolers from 1pm to 3pm) to cheer up even the Scroogiest New Yorker.

Then, the walk ends with the Finnish Festival located St. John’s Church, where you’ll find merchants hawking their goods and more carolers. Ah, don't you just love the cheeriest time of year?

Look out for these boutiques and grub hubs participating in the event: Aedes de Venustas, Brooklyn Industries, Bottega Organica, Dodo Les Bobos, Albertine, The Porcelain Room, Flat 128, Greenwich Letterpress, New York Chemists, Uncorked!
