This is the one time we’re excited not to be No. 1. On the newly released list of cities with the most bedbugs, New York City came in fourth place. The place with the most bedbugs? Baltimore, followed by Washington and Chicago, so we know where we won't be traveling to this year. The study is based on which cities had the most bedbug treatments performed in the past year.
It’s not a huge surprise, unfortunately, since bedbugs have spread everywhere from movie theaters to some of the city’s top hotels to your apartment. A teeny-tiny silver lining is that last year NYC was in the same position on the list, so at least it’s not getting worse.
