The list of the richest New Yorkers was just released, and we’ll just be over here crying in our three-bedroom converted railroad apartment for the rest of the day. The Observer’s report includes the richest musicians, the highest-paid athletes and the New York comedians with the highest net worth.

Some notable people on the list include our favorite bartender Bill Murray, a big chunk of the Yankees roster and Madonna, who just performed a free show in the city. (She already has $560 million, so she’s good.) Several of the people on these lists, including Paul McCartney, split their time between several houses, but just owning one in NYC is enough to land them a spot on the list.
