Win a staring contest at this Brooklyn bar and get a free bar tab

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. But tonight, they’re also the doorway to an open bar.

Greenpoint bar The Diamond is hosting an old-fashioned staring contest this evening (yes, liked the ones you played in Middle School) and the bleary-eyed winners get to celebrate with a free bar tab. Hopefully, while refraining from immediately operating any heavy machinery.

Entering the contest will set you back a mere three dollars, but be warned: claiming the prize may be a bit more difficult than you forsee. Some contestants lasted as long as 10 minutes at the first edition of the contest earlier this year. 

The event starts at 8pm tonight and an RSVP is recommended.
