CANCELED Returning for another neighborly season, Alan Pierson and his B.Phil team cruise into Brighton Beach with a program titled "All Music Is Folk Music: Traditions of the Former Soviet Union." Included on the bill are Prokofiev's Overture on Hebrew Themes, Shostakovich's From Jewish Folk Poetry, Stravinsky's Les Noces and Russian Romances, a collection of traditional themes arranged by Lev "Ljova" Zhurbin.
