Budapest Festival Orchestra

Conductor Iván Fischer brings his extraordinary Hungarian ensemble to Newark and Manhattan with an unusually eclectic bill, at least where this band is concerned: Shostakovich's Jazz Suite, Bernstein's Serenade (featuring violin soloist Liza Ferschtman) and Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2.
