Peter Flint and Ben Kaplan + Andrew Shapiro and Gregory Fulkerson

Composer and accordionist Peter Flint, leader of the Avian Orchestra, collaborates with rock guitarist-drummer Ben Kaplan in a set of songs without words prompted by Dorothy Simpson Krause’s River of Grass series of artworks, which in turn were inspired by disappearing Florida Everglades landscapes. Andrew Shapiro, a gifted composer as well as a local celebrity for his longtime stint as pianist-in-residence at a McDonald's on Lower Broadway, opens in a duo with violinist Gregory Fulkerson.
