Trus'me, the numero uno of the Prime Numbers label, goes deep.

New York City’s deep-beat lovers are in for a treat this week: Manchester, England house maestro David James Wolstencroft, better known as Trus’me, is spinning at Output this week on a bill that also features Neon Indian and Glasgow’s mighty Optimo duo. The Prime Numbers label head came seemingly out of nowhere in 2007 with a skillful way with a R&B–stuffed sampler—but over the years, the overt soul, funk and boogie leaning of Trus’me’s earlier work have become just one facet of his sometimes tough, often gorgeous house and techno musings. Trus’me , who put out the Treat Me Right LP earlier this year, has kindly supplied us with this mix of tunes from recently released Prime Numbers 05 compiilation featuring work from Nick Sinna, Marcel Dettman, Ben Klock, Terrence Dixon and Trus'me himself, among others.  If you like what you hear, we’d advise you to head to Williamsburg on Thursday to hear the talented artist in action.

Input: Neon Indian + Optimo + Trus'me is at Output Thursday, May 9.
