Two years ago, Chris Davids and Liam Ivory—together known as the British production unit Maribou State–were unknowns. Today the duo is riding high, thanks to the emotive, sometimes bassy house that they produce, which has caught the ear of the Pete Tong, Bonobo and Fatboy Slim. (Davids and Ivory remixed the latter's "Praise You" to surprisingly fine effect, and are signed to his Southern Fried label). The Fixed affair's JDH and Moodgadget's Heathered Pearls lend top support with deck sets.
