Platinum Classics Night: Alicia Myers + The Intruders

Here's another great night of disco and R&B from the Underground Network and Soul Party NYC camps, once again featuring major stars from days of yore. The draws at this edition are Alicia Myers (the voice on such adored tunes as "I Want to Thank You" and "You Got the Best from Me") and the Intruders, the fab vocal group behind "I'll Always Love My Mama" and "Cowboys to Girls." Don Welch, Lloyd the Enforcer and T-Groove provide the pre- and postset rhythms.
