Profound Sessions: Monstar

The bass-music-oriented Profound Audio label hosts a night of rumbling fun in Williamsburg. This debut edition features a set from Monstar (not to be confused with Mon-Star from the old Silverhawks animated series). The producer, who also releases drum ’n’ bass under the Original Sin moniker, recent released an EP featuring a dubstep number called "Harder"—which might give you a clue as to the nature of his sound. Trigon, Dave Gee and Eshin step up to the decks as well, with Diggadee MC providing the requisite narration.
