"Charles Addams's New York"

The creator of the creepy, kooky and altogether ooky Addams Family is the centerpiece of this exhibit. Charles Addams, a cartoonist who frequently contributed to The New Yorker (in fact, his weird family first appeared in that magazine), depicted a quirky, macabre and quite charming version of New York City; many of those cartoons and illustrations are on view.
