Time Out says

Zobel’s deceptively zany Sundance favorite—about a duo of small-time, corporate-schooled music hustlers hoping to snare prospective acts—starts off modestly: cheap hotel rooms, cheaper meals, a parade of bad acts. But at midpoint, a young girl unleashes a song of such ferocious cynicism that the movie takes on enormous resonance regarding the dark side of American idolatry. The director will take questions after the screening.
