Human Rights Watch Film Festival 2012

The Film Society hosts the 23rd annual festival, devoted to "bear[ing] witness to human rights violations and creat[ing] a forum for courageous individuals on both sides of the lens to empower audiences with the knowledge that personal commitment can make a difference." Don’t expect a lot of feel-good movies about puppies and rainbows, in other words.
