Letter from Siberia

Marker's first feature takes a tour of the Soviet Union (including the titular no-man's-land of gulags and frozen tundra) and foreshadows his future modus operandi of free-flowing meta-essays. It screens with "Psychiatry in Russia" (1955), by the legendary Albert Maysles—who will lead a panel discussion after the screening.
