Trier's follow-up to his giddy debut, Reprise, is a complete 180-degree switch from his first film, as it follows a recovering addict returning to his hometown. To reveal more would ruin it, but suffice to say, Trier and star Anders Danielsen Lie may be Norway's next-gen answer to Scorse and De Niro.
