Eat Drink Local Week

For its fourth annual Eat Drink Local Week, Edible magazine has partnered with a host of farms, restaurants, grocers, brewers and bars to promote sustainability. Dine at participating restaurants (Txikito, Egg, Bowery Diner) that will be offering prix-fixe menus featuring seasonal and regional ingredients, and cash in on specials around the city at spots like the Brooklyn Kitchen, Murray’s Cheese and Fleisher’s. Finally, check out one of the manyparties, events and tastings, such as child-friendly demonstrations at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan (June 27; free) and live chef demos at the Grand Army Plaza farmers’ market (June 23).
